Raptors' Ross sustains ankle injury Friday vs. Magic

The Toronto Raptors seemingly can't stay healthy.

Starting point guard Kyle Lowry returned from a back injury on Friday to drop 10 points, eight rebounds and seven assists in a last-second win over the Orlando Magic, but the Raptors lost Terrence Ross to an ankle injury midway through the game.

Ross finished with seven points and two rebounds in 21 minutes before exiting.

The Washington product has had a disappointing third season, largely regressing on offense and defense.

However, Ross remains a key part of the Raptors' wing rotation, as he's the only small forward on the roster capable of reliably spotting up from outside - the main reason he's garnered 57 starts this season.

Ross is averaging 9.8 points and 2.7 rebounds per game on 38 percent shooting from deep.
