Warriors' Green on Clippers: 'They have a cocky arrogance, like they've won something'

The rivalry between the Golden State Warriors and Los Angeles Clippers has continued this season, most notably with Clippers reserve Dahntay Jones being fined for bumping into Draymond Green during a postgame interview.

Green, Golden State's outspoken breakout star, especially seems to get under the Clippers' skin and his comments about the team in a recent Grantland piece probably won't help.

"They have a cocky arrogance, like they've won something, and they haven't done nothing," Green told Grantland's Jonathan Abrams. "They pretty much been to the same spot in the playoffs we've been to. But they have this cockiness like you're supposed to bow down to them," Green added.

"They ain't proved nothing. They ain't earned nothing. What respect have you earned?"

The Clippers and Warriors have been at each other's throats for much of the past two seasons. The 2013-14 season series reportedly included the two teams refusing to partake in pregame chapel together and a Christmas Day skirmish between Blake Griffin and Andrew Bogut.

The rivalry then came to a head when the Clippers outlasted the Warriors in a seven-game playoff series that ended with the two teams reportedly needing to be separated in the hallway following Game 7.
