Kirk Hinrich also returns for Bulls on Wednesday

Bill Streicher-USA TODAY Sports

Good news, Chicago Bulls fans: Your point guard is back!

Kirk Hinrich will return from a two-game absence Tuesday, with his left knee feeling better after a week off. The return of Hinrich will solidify the Bulls' guard rotation and ensure too large a burden isn't placed on Aaron Brooks and E'Twuan Moore and should give them a morale boost against the Orlando Magic.

Oh, and Derrick Rose is back, too, if that matters at all.

Jest aside, Hinrich's return understandably pales next to Rose, and since Hinrich hasn't been particularly effective this year, it doesn't move the needle a great deal. He has the trust of head coach Tom Thibodeau as the primary backup at both guard spots, but the return of Rose and heavy workload of Jimmy Butler could serve to shrink Hinrich's minutes from his current average of 25.

In 63 games, the 34-year-old veteran is averaging career-lows of 5.9 points, 1.9 rebounds and 2.3 assists while shooting 37.1 percent from the floor and 34.5 percent from outside, both career-low percentages, as well.

Like (hin)Rich Homie Quan says, you don't know his struggle.
