Doc Rivers says Jamal Crawford probable to return Tuesday

The Los Angeles Clippers are on an absolute tear, winning 10 of their last 11 games, including eight by double digits, despite a paucity of wing depth.

What should be encouraging for the Clippers and terrifying for the rest of the Western Conference is that they're on the verge of patching up that hole, as shooting guard and reigning Sixth Man of the Year Jamal Crawford is set to return from a calf strain that's cost him the last 17 games.

Clippers coach Doc Rivers, who just two weeks ago was openly questioning whether Crawford would play again this season, now says that Crawford is probable for Tuesday's game against the Los Angeles Lakers

In 60 games mostly off the bench this season, Crawford has averaged 16.4 points and 2.5 assists, and his per-36-minute scoring average of 21.9 is second to only Blake Griffin on the Clippers.
