Beto, who was instrumental in helping the Spanish club capture the Europa League crown last season, is in the midst of recovering from a separated shoulder that has kept him out of action since early February. He had started all 18 league matches until that point.

He was expected to miss roughly three months with the ailment, which could see him return to the pitch in May for the final weeks of the season.
