<p>Tiger Woods is officially back on the hunt for a fifth green jacket.</p><p>The former World No. 1 and winner of 14 major championships <a href="http://www.tigerwoods.com/news/2015/04/03/116152982/tiger-to-play-the-masters-next-week/">announced on his website</a> Friday that he will indeed be in the field at Augusta for the 79th Masters Tournament next weekend. </p><blockquote><p>I'm playing in the Masters. It's obviously very important to me, and I want to be there. I've worked a lot on my game and I'm looking forward to competing. I'm excited to get to Augusta and I appreciate everyone's support.</p></blockquote><p>Woods has not taken a stroke on Tour since withdrawing from the Farmers Insurance Open in early February. </p><div class="the-score-article-ad-unit"></div><p>He missed the tournament last year after having surgery to repair a pinched nerve. </p>
