Clippers' Crawford reportedly targeting return next week

The Los Angeles Clippers may be getting their top reserve back just in time for the postseason.

Jamal Crawford, who has been sidelined since March 2 with a strained right calf, is reportedly targeting an April 7 return against the Los Angeles Lakers, according to ESPN's Arash Markazi.

Crawford, who has missed 14 consecutive games, made it through a full workout before Tuesday's game against the rival Golden State Warriors and will reportedly accompany the Clippers on their two-game road trip through Portland and Denver this week.

Considering head coach Doc Rivers said just over a week ago that it was possible Crawford could miss the remainder of the season, the Clippers have to be thrilled with the latest update.

Crawford, the reigning Sixth Man of the Year, is averaging 16.4 points on a True Shooting Percentage of 53.9 off of the Clippers' 18th-ranked bench, which is outscored by an average of 1.5 points per 100 possessions.
