VIDEO: Thunder's Augustin puts dagger in Suns' season with absurd sky hook

The Oklahoma City Thunder hammered home another nail in the coffin of the Phoenix Suns' 2014-15 season Sunday night.

OKC outscored Phoenix 55-35 in the second half, winning 109-97, and winning the all-important tiebreaker between the two teams. Here's how the Suns' season all-but-officially ended, at the hands of D.J. Augustin, who threw up a sky hook that can only be described as "bananas," which somehow dropped:

Russell Westbrook paced the Thunder, of course, with 33 points on a very inefficient 10-of-29 shooting. He added nine rebounds, seven assists, three steals and a block.

Augustin had 19 points, shooting 6-of-9 from the floor and 4-of-5 from deep. He added three assists, a board and a steal. Steven Adams chipped in with a double-double, scoring 13 points and grabbing 16 rebounds, five on the offensive glass.

The Suns fall four games behind the Thunder for eighth in the Western Conference, with only eight games to go. They've lost three in a row, and sit 10th in the West, two games above .500 and a game and a half behind New Orleans, who are in ninth.

Markieff Morris had 24 points to lead the Suns in scoring Sunday night, adding seven rebounds, an assist and a steal. T.J. Warren had 18 points off the bench, shooting 80 percent, adding five rebounds, two assists, two steals and a block.
