Tyreke Evans: (Ankle) Listed As Day-To-Day

Evans (ankle) is listed as day-to-day in advance of Wednesday's game against the Rockets, the New Orleans Times Picayune reports.

Analysis:

Since initially suffering a left ankle sprain two weeks ago, Evans has aggravated it two times in the last week, meaning the Pelicans could opt to expand upon Sunday's absence. If he sits out Wednesday, coach Monty Williams may trot out the same starting backcourt of Norris Cole and Quincy Pondexter, but Eric Gordon's move to the bench didn't hurt his workload (37 minutes) in the slightest due to Cole's foul trouble (26 minutes as a result of six fouls).
