Giagos, Serrano emerge victorious in Fight Pass Prelims
Christos Giagos def. Jorge de Oliveira via first-round submission
Jorge de Oliveira had nothing for Christos Giagos on the floor. Nothing.
Early in the first round, Giagos powered through de Oliveira with a double-leg, and quickly moved into full mount. He rained down some ground-and-pound from there, and when de Oliveira gave up his back, "The Spartan" snaked in a fight-ending rear-naked choke.
Incredibly impressive stuff.

Fredy Serrano def. Bentley Syler via third-round KO
In the evening's curtain-jerker, Fredy Serrano saved a lackluster bout against Bentley Syler with a mind-melting right uppercut.
After just over two rounds of uninspired action against his "Ultimate Fighter: Latin America" teammate, Serrano silenced the restless crowd with a jaw-jarring knockout.
Syler was out before he hit the mat, and was saved from further damage by referee Osiris Maia at 1:34 of the third frame.
