There appears to be mutual interest between Andre Johnson and the New England Patriots.

Johnson's brother named the Patriots, Seattle SeahawksIndianapolis Colts and Green Bay Packers as potential landing spots for the free-agent wide receiver, and ESPN's Adam Schefter expects New England to show interest.

"I believe they will be one of the teams in there," Schefter said during an appearance on WEEI's Dennis and Callahan Show on Tuesday. "I don't know exactly whether he will choose there. I think he wants to play for a Super Bowl contender, he wants to play on a team with a quarterback. You look at the final four teams last year. New England, Indy, Green Bay, Seattle - that would be a smart starting point."

Johnson was released by the Houston Texans on Monday after 12 seasons with the team.
