Heat's Deng, Chalmers, Andersen questionable Friday

Robert Mayer-USA TODAY Sports

The playoff-hopeful Miami Heat could be down a number of rotation players for Friday's road contest against the reeling Washington Wizards.

Luol Deng, Mario Chalmers and Chris Andersen are all questionable with general soreness. All three suited up in the team's last contest, so this doesn't appear to be anything concerning, but rather an opportunity for Miami to get some of its players rest.

Miami finishes off the second night of a back-to-back Saturday against the Sacramento Kings.

The Heat enter Friday in seventh in the lowly Eastern Conference, but five teams trailing them in the standings are within four games.

Washington, meanwhile, has plunged after a hot start. The Wizards are likely to open up the first round on the road, sitting in fifth in the East after dropping 12 of their last 15 games.
