Report: Dolphins confident they'll sign Ndamukong Suh in free agency

Free agency has yet to officially begin, but the Miami Dolphins are already quite positive about their chances of coming away with this year's top available player.

In pursuit of perennial All-Pro defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh, the Dolphins are confident that the offer they plan to put on the table will be enough to get a deal done, according to Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald.

Of course, Suh is certain to receive interest from a number of other teams around the league, and a lot can change in the days leading up to and after the opening of the new league year.

At the same time, such confidence this early in the process falls in line with recent reports of the Dolphins being expected to make a strong push for his services.

Suh has long established himself as one of the NFL's most dominant players. His presence on the interior defensive front would certainly go a long way toward helping the Dolphins take the next step in becoming true contenders in the AFC.
