NBA admits refs missed Harden call Wednesday

Troy Taormina-USA TODAY Sports

The NBA says James Harden was in fact fouled by the Memphis Grizzlies on Wednesday.

The league released the Last Two Minute Report Thursday on Wednesday's Grizzlies-Rockets game, a pretty good one despite the fact that Harden was clearly fouled on a drive to the basket in a tie game with 7.8 seconds left in the fourth quarter.

Zach Randolph reaches in on Harden, who then appears to make contact with Courtney Lee. The report classifies the play as an "Incorrect Non-Call."

After Harden lost the ball, the Grizzlies set up on the other end and Marc Gasol hit the game-winner for Memphis with 0.1 seconds left. Both Harden and Rockets coach Kevin McHale were incensed afterwards, with McHale reportedly slamming down a water bottle after post-game comments.
