Jones on NAC's handling of his failed drug test: 'I am aware that there was some foul play'

Jon Jones still has a beef with the Nevada Athletic Commission (NAC).

When Jones tested positive for cocaine metabolites in an out-of-competition screening prior to his bout with Daniel Cormier at UFC 182, many questioned the NAC's decision to release information about the failed drug test.

Cocaine isn't a banned substance out-of-competition, and therefore shouldn't have been part of the test in the first place.

"I do have a great legal team behind me, and we haven't quite completely let it go," Jones told MMAFighting.com's Ariel Helwani. "We want to see what went wrong, and what could be done about it. I'm not going to comment too much on that whole situation, but I am aware that there was some foul play in the situation, and right now I'm kinda weighing my options."

Jones spent one night in a rehab facility in January following the failed test, and is set to defend his UFC light heavyweight title against Anthony "Rumble" Johnson at UFC 187 on May 23.
