Looking ahead to free agency, the Philadelphia Eagles appear to have their sights set on one of this year's top available edge rushers.

The Eagles are reportedly expected to target outside linebacker Jason Worilds when the new league year officially opens March 10, according to Dianna Marie Russini of NBC4.

Worilds has spent each of his five NFL seasons with the Pittsburgh Steelers, appearing in 73 games and tallying 25.5 sacks from his 3-4 outside linebacker spot.

The Eagles have a significant need at the same position with both Brandon Graham and Trent Cole hitting the open market, making Worilds a relatively solid fit for the defense.

Still just 27 years old and coming off the two most productive seasons of his career, he'll likely receive a number of multiyear offers from teams around the league.

However, with plenty of money to spend after some recent cost-cutting moves, the Eagles should have little trouble meeting Worilds's contract demands and emerging as a front-runner for his services fairly early on.
