A former manager of the U.S. Men's National Team could reportedly be heading to Villa Park.

According to ESPN FC, Bob Bradley is the running to become Aston Villa's director of football as the club is searching for someone to help newly-appointed manager Tim Sherwood.

Bradley is currently managing Norwegian side Stabaek, but a possible move seems conceivable as this isn't the first time he's been connected to Villa. He previously admitted that he was interested in becoming the club's manager back in 2010.

Between 2006 and 2011, Bradley guided the USMNT to the 2007 Gold Cup title as well as the final of the 2009 Confederations Cup and the round of 16 at the 2010 World Cup. He then went on to manage Egypt, but failed to lead the club to last year's World Cup following a qualifying campaign that was marred by the Egyptian Revolution of 2011.

Another name being linked with the position is former Liverpool and Tottenham director of football Damien Comolli.
