VIDEO: Sharks' Burns bats puck off goal line in mid-air

Russell LaBounty / USA Today

Alex Stalock owes his fourth career shutout to Brent Burns.

Stalock played well for the San Jose Sharks during Monday's 4-0 victory over the Montreal Canadiens, but Burns made the save of the game with an excellent display of hand-eye coordination in the third period.

David Desharnais chipped a rebound toward San Jose's goal and past Stalock's outstretched pad, but Burns somehow got his stick on the puck in time to clear it off the goal line.

The play was ruled no-goal after an extensive video review.
