Antoine Vermette is the newest member of the Chicago Blackhawks.

The Arizona Coyotes forward has been dealt to Chicago, according to ESPN's Pierre LeBrun. The Coyotes confirmed the trade on their website following a trade call with the NHL.

"On behalf of the entire Coyotes organization I would like to thank Antoine for everything he did for our Club on and off the ice the past four seasons," Arizona general manager Don Maloney said in a statement. "Antoine is the consummate professional and a class act and we wish him the best of luck in the future."

Multiple reports linked Vermette to the Blackhawks, including that of LeBrun and TSN's Bob McKenzieElliotte Friedman of Hockey Night in Canada reported that Arizona will receive Chicago prospect Klas Dahlbeck and a first-round pick in the deal.

Vermette recorded 111 points in 215 career games with Arizona. The 32-year-old has 194 goals and 430 points in his 815-game career and his speedy playing style should fit well into Chicago's mobile offense.
