Dolphins promote Dennis Lock to director of analytics

The Miami Dolphins promoted Dennis Lock to director of analytics Saturday. 

Lock previously served as head analyst for the team. 

Dolphins executive vice president of football operations Mike Tannenbaum also announced that the team named Wayne Diesel as its sports performance director. 

Miami is in the middle of offseason preparations entering free agency and released wide receivers Brian Hartline and Brandon Gibson on Friday.
