Eric Bledsoe did everything he could to help the Phoenix Suns stay close in the playoff race and down the Oklahoma City Thunder on Thursday, the team's No. 1 enemy.

Bledsoe fell one assist shy of a triple-double to power the Suns to a thrilling 117-113 overtime win. The Suns now trail the Thunder by 1.5 games in what's looking like a three-team race, with the New Orleans Pelicans, for the final playoff spot in the loaded Western Conference.

Thursday's game was a nailbiter, and Phoenix got revenge after Oklahoma City won in overtime 137-134 the last time the two teams met in December. Bledsoe was a big reason behind the intense matchup.

The Phoenix guard scored 28 points, hauled in 13 rebounds and added nine assists in the win to help the Suns overcome a triple-double from Russell Westbrook. Bledsoe scored two of his points on this ridiculous layup in the third quarter and made it a three-point play after connecting on his foul shot:

Bledsoe with the hoop and the harm!

In overtime, Bledsoe showed off his defensive chops, coming up with this huge block on a Dion Waiters layup:

These are the kind of plays that win games. Bledsoe blocks Waiters.

If the Suns end up making the playoffs, they'll look back at this game as the one they didn't let slip away, thanks mostly to Bledsoe's exploits.
