Bruins' Malcolm Subban to make NHL debut Friday

Boston Bruins rookie goaltender Malcolm Subban will start against the St. Louis Blues on Friday night.

Bruins head coach Claude Julien confirmed that Subban will make his NHL debut.

Subban, recalled from Providence on Monday, was the first netminder off the ice at the morning skate.

The 21-year-old is 10-10-3 with a 2.47 goals-against average and .920 save percentage in 24 games with the AHL club in 2014-15.

He was selected 24th overall by the Bruins in 2012.
