VIDEO: Jack's game-winner caps Nets' comeback over Clippers

Anthony Gruppuso-USA TODAY Sports

The Los Angeles Clippers appeared to have things in the bag on Monday.

Leading by as many as 11 overall and up nine with 4:16 to play, the Clippers appeared on their way to defeating the Brooklyn Nets for what would have been their 14th win in 18 games, an extended stretch of offensively dominant play.

Punch by punch, play by play, bucket by bucket, the Nets chipped away late, ultimately taking a lead with 15 seconds to go. Five players scored for the Nets between the 4:16 mark and the game's final play, when the ice-cold Jarrett Jack got the nod.

Shooting 2-of-10 on the night with just four points at the time, Jack got the look as time ticked away, the Clippers having tied the game. It couldn't have been how head coach Lionel Hollins drew it up, but Jack got a switch, freed himself enough to launch a jumper and, well, ball game.

It's a disappointing outcome for the Clippers and their second loss in four to begin their eight-game road trip, which sends them to Ohio next to take on the Cleveland Cavaliers. DeAndre Jordan had 22 points and 20 rebounds and Chris Paul had 20 points, eight rebounds and eight assists, but otherwise there wasn't much to be excited about, with the team even losing J.J. Redick to back spasms.

The Nets, meanwhile, get a much-needed win in Deron Williams's return to the lineup. Williams had 15 points off the bench, joining Brook Lopez (24 points) to heavily swing the reserve matchup.
