Denny Hamlin: Practice Crash at New Hampshire
Hamlin and Ryan Newman both crushed their primary cars in separate wrecks during the closing minutes of Friday's Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series practice at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, NASCAR.com reports.
Analysis:
In the very closing moments of opening practice, Hamlin lost control of the No. 11 Toyota and backed it into the turn 4 wall hard. The damage was pretty significant, and the JGR team immediately pulled out the backup car to get ready. It's a setback to be sure, but not a devastating blow to Hamlin for Sunday's race at New Hampshire.
