Eagles' Nick Foles on trade rumors: I only listen to Chip Kelly

Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Nick Foles is aware of the trade rumors surrounding him, but he isn't listening.

"I think you're going to hear about them every single year," Foles said during a radio interview Thursday, according to Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Inquirer"That's just part of it. I think the main word is 'rumor.' It's a rumor that you can't put too much into it. I only listen to the people at the (Eagles) facility, being Chip (Kelly). He's the one that will make the decision."

The St. Louis Rams, Houston Texans and Tennessee Titans are among the teams that would have an interest in Foles should the Eagles decide to part ways with him, Eliot Shorr-Parks of NJ.com reported Monday.

There has also been talk of the Eagles moving up in the draft to grab former Oregon quarterback Marcus Mariota, but Foles expects to return for a fourth season.

"I plan on being back and being in Philly," Foles said, adding that he hasn't spoken to Kelly much since the end of the season.

"He's got a lot going on," Foles said. "This time of year you really just get away from everything. He's busy looking at the draft, doing all that. I saw that he's more of a decision maker, but I haven't really talked to him much."

As for the broken collarbone that kept him out of the final eight games of the season, Foles said the injury has fully healed.

"I've been training five days a week," Foles said. "Spending time with family like I always do and really just getting ready to get back out there. The collarbone feels really good - broken through the scare tissue. Everything feels solid. Throwing it around a little bit and now I just have to wait until I get back next season."
