Brandon Jennings: Left Arena On Crutches, Out for Foreseeable Future
Jennings was in a boot and on crutches leaving the arena following Saturday's game, FOXSports Wisconsin reports. There was some speculation from reporters that he may have suffered an Achilles injury. Jennings will be out for the "foreseeable future." He has been ruled out for Sunday.
Analysis:
With Jennings down and out, D.J. Augustin is the prudent pick-up right now in all standard leagues. Jennings should be held onto until an official diagnoses is released, which is expected to come Sunday. He left Saturday's game in considerable pain, and some of his teammates expressed their concern and support after the game. Rookie point guard Spencer Dinwiddie, the man with the greatest mustache since Magnum P.I., could also see a big enough increase in minutes that he could become relevant in deeper leagues.
