Charges laid after latest Maple Leafs jersey toss in Toronto
Nazem Kadri's call for justice has been heard.
Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment confirmed to Codi Wilson of CP24.com that charges have been laid after jerseys were thrown on to the ice at the Air Canada Centre during the Toronto Maple Leafs' 4-1 loss to the Carolina Hurricanes on Monday.
The three men who threw sweaters on the ice at Air Canada Centre last night were issued tickets, per @TorontoPolice. Expensive night.

Three jerseys were sent down from the stands, leading center Nazem Kadri to wonder how the fans are getting away with the demonstration of displeasure in regards to the team's performance.
"I don't how that happens, what security or the ushers are doing," Kadri said after Monday's game. "It seems like we're giving the guy an extra couple minutes to flip everybody off and to mock our real fans."
The team offered no further comment on the matter, but fair warning has been issued that this act of protest will not be tolerated in the future.
