Prince, Pondexter out for Grizzlies Sunday

Jayne Kamin-Oncea-USA TODAY Sports

This probably comes as no surprise since they're reportedly about to be traded, but forward Tayshaun Prince and guard Quincy Pondexter have been ruled inactive for Sunday's Memphis Grizzlies game against the Phoenix Suns.

As of Sunday, the three-way deal - that would bring Jeff Green from Boston to Memphis, send Prince and the Pelicans' Austin Rivers to Boston (then reportedly on to his father Doc's Los Angeles Clippers), and move Pondexter to the New Orleans Pelicans - has not been made official. The teams are waiting for the league office to open Monday morning for the trade to be finalized.

After news of the trade first broke Friday night, Prince ended up playing 25 minutes in a 106-95 loss to the Pelicans.
