Griffin, Clippers edge Suns at the buzzer despite triple-double from Bledsoe

It was an unlikely ending befitting of such a thrilling game.

Blake Griffin stepped back and launched a three-pointer as time expired in overtime that hit the front of the rim, hit the top of the backboard, and fell through the hoop to give the Los Angeles Clippers a 121-120 victory over the Phoenix Suns.

The bucket also gave Griffin 45 points on the night - two shy of his career-high - and gave the Clippers their eighth straight win.

The entertaining contest between Pacific Division rivals included 16 lead changes and 15 ties.

Eric Bledsoe recorded a triple-double in defeat, pouring in 27 points on 8-of-16 shooting to with 16 assists, 11 rebounds, two steals and two blocks, including this rejection of Chris Paul with the game on the line at the end of regulation.

Paul flirted with a triple-double himself, posting 20 points, 10 assists and seven rebounds, while DeAndre Jordan added 10 points, 14 rebounds and four blocks for the Clippers, who improved to 15-5.

Markieff Morris chipped in 21 points and seven rebounds for the Suns.
