Colts' Andrew Luck breaks Peyton Manning's record for yards in 1st 3 seasons

Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck has passed Peyton Manning as the most prolific passer in NFL history after three seasons.

Manning threw for 12,287 yards in his first three pro seasons. Luck entered Sunday's game against the Cleveland Browns needing 80 yards to match Manning's three-year total.

The record-breaking play came late in the second quarter on a check down to Daniel Herron, who turned the reception into a 20-yard gain, putting Luck 10 yards in front of Manning.

Luck has three weeks remaining to build upon the mark, though, with the way the NFL is becoming more of a passer-friendly league, the record may not stand for very long.
