Report: Jazz's Burks doesn't need surgery, could return in 2 weeks

The Utah Jazz have dodged a bullet, as specialists determined shooting guard Alec Burks' injured shoulder won't require surgery, Yahoo Sports' Adrian Wojnarowski reports. 

Burks could return in two weeks, Wojnarowski notes.

The Jazz inked Burks to a four-year extension this past offseason. The 23-year-old swingman is averaging 13.3 points, 4.5 rebounds and three assists per game this season.
