John Hunter Nemechek: Fast Xfinity Series Happy Hour

Nemechek was fastest in Happy Hour practice for the ToyotaCare 250 Xfinity Series race at Richmond Raceway Friday morning. He turned a fast lap of 119.090 mph.

Analysis:

The No. 42 Chevrolet team found some additional speed in final practice. Nemechek was able to climb the scoring pylon and sit at the top when the final hour was complete. He completed just 5 laps during this final session, but beat out Justin Allgaier for the fastest lap of the 3/4-mile oval. Nemechek will be aiming for his second Top-5 finish of the season Saturday at Richmond.
