Sonny Vaccaro says Penn State 'will be the death of Mark Emmert'

NCAA critic and major sports marketing guru Sonny Vaccaro isn't in the business of hiding his emotions.

Vaccaro, best known for signing NBA legend Michael Jordan to his first sneaker deal, is also known as a vocal NCAA pundit.

Last week, he was the keynote speaker at Drexel University's Sport for Social Change Conference in Pennsylvania.

When asked about the NCAA's sanctions against Penn State, Vaccaro didn't hold back on how he views NCAA president Mark Emmert and the institution's handling of the Jerry Sandusky sex abuse scandal, the Philadelphia Inquirer's Mike Jenson reports.

"I despise the man for thinking he was God," he said. "Penn State will be the death of Mark Emmert, that's my prediction."
