Browns' Mike Pettine says Brian Hoyer 'is still firmly our starter'
Any Cleveland Browns fans hoping to see Johnny Manziel replace Brian Hoyer as the starter this week is going to be disappointed.
Hoyer has struggled the last two games and looked out of sorts in Sunday's loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars. He's completed just 24-of-58 passes for only one touchdown in his last two outings.
Still, the Browns sit at 3-3 and are very much in the thick of things in the AFC. To make a change now would seem a little premature.
