Jeremy Tyler is reportedly headed to China, according to Yahoo! Sports' Adrian Wojnarowski.

Citing league sources, Wojnarowski reports that the Lakers will waive the big man so that he can sign a contract in China.

After being traded from the New York Knicks to the Sacramento Kings in August and subsequently being waived by the Kings, Tyler signed a non-guaranteed contract with the Lakers.

The 23-year-old center logged 28 minutes over three preseason games with the Lakers this month, posting eight points, 10 rebounds, three blocks, two assists and a steal.

Tyler has averaged 3.6 points and 2.6 rebounds in three seasons with the Golden State Warriors, Atlanta Hawks, and Knicks since being selected in the second round of the 2011 NBA Draft.
