Krul allowed two goals while making three saves in Newcastle's 0-2 loss to Manchester City on Sunday.

Analysis:

Krul's owners shouldn't have been expecting much from an opening match against the defending champions, so walking away with only two goals conceded shouldn't be considered a terrible result. Things should start looking up for Krul with a nice run of fixtures coming up against Aston Villa, Crystal Palace, Southampton, Hull City, and Stoke.
