Analysis:

Seraphin signed a $3.8 million qualifying offer with Washington after no other teams expressed much interest in the backup big man. The Wizards have been pretty aggressive in free agency, retaining Marcin Gortat and bringing in Kris Humphries and Paul Pierce to add to the frontcourt mix. It seems like a long shot at this point that Seraphin ever realizes the fantasy potential he used to flash with Washington back when the team was one of the worst in the league.
