Jonathan Toews and Patrick Kane each signed eight-year extensions with the Chicago Blackhawks Wednesday.

The deals are reportedly worth $84-million over the eight years for each.

Toews, who has won two Stanley Cups in his seven years in Chicago, has tallied 195 goals and 245 assists in 484 games. Kane, also a 2-time Stanley Cup champion, has 178 goals and 315 assists in 515 career games and is known for his playoff performances over the years, scoring the series-clinching goal in Game 6 of the 2010 Stanley Cup Final against the Philadelphia Flyers.

The two superstars, of course, are happy the long-gestating deal is finally done.

According to Pierre LeBrun, a majority of the money is in signing bonus form.
