Ayon (shoulder) is able to take long-distance shots and is trying to become apt enough to play for his national team (Mexico) during the World Cup in Spain that takes place in late August, Esto reports.

Analysis:

Ayon will be an unrestricted free agent this offseason, so getting some competitive action on his post-injury game tape will bode well for his job hunt. He still has a couple months to prepare for the World Cup as he continues to rehab his shoulder injury that limited his availability to just 26 games during the 2013-2014 season.
