VIDEO: Gilbert Arenas training for return, wearing weird mask

So, about that whole "Gilbert Arenas comeback" thing...apparently he was serious.

Arenas, who often takes jabs at current teams or players on social media, posted a video to his Instagram on Tuesday with the caption, "A little rusty but who said a comeback was gonna be easy?!?" In the video, a shirtless Arenas is wearing some sort of mask as he drives the hoop through a pair of trainers:

Back in April, Arenas called in to a Washington radio station and revealed that he was "in the middle of training" and was "gonna give it one more chance," claiming his heart was back in it after "I lost it there for a while."

Arenas, who earned $22.3 million this season to sit at home and has estimated career earnings of $163 million, hasn't played in the NBA since May of 2012. He tried his hand in China briefly following his NBA career.

Arenas is still just 32 years old but hasn't been an effective NBA contributor since way back in 2009-10. However, as a second-round pick who made it big, Hibachi has an excellent story, one that would wrap nicely with such an unlikely return to the league.
