Dante Cunningham's omnibus hearing delayed 6 weeks

Facing a felony domestic assault charge stemming from a dispute with his live-in girlfriend in early April, Minnesota Timberwolves forward Dante Cunningham appeared Wednesday in Hennepin County District Court.

However, his omnibus hearing was delayed six weeks until June 19. No official reason was given for the change of date.

Three days after Cunningham was arrested for the charge, in which he's accused of choking his live-in girlfriend, he was arrested once again for sending threatening text messages to the same woman that police say "rose to a terroristic level."

Cunningham, who is set to become a free agent this offseason, declined to comment on Wednesday's court appearance.
