Report: Pacers' Andrew Bynum ruled out for Round 1 against Hawks

Andrew Bynum has been ruled out of the Pacers round one matchup against the Hawks. 

Head coach Frank Vogel announced Bynum's absence, but also revealed that he could return for the second round should Indiana advance. 

The 25-year-old has been troubled by nagging knee injuries this season, appearing in only 26 games. 

Bynum averaged 8.7 points and 5.6 rebounds for the Pacers and Cavaliers.
