Bynum (knee) attended Thursday's practice but was unable to take part, the Pacers' official site reports.
Analysis:
Since draining his right knee in mid-March, Bynum has been resting and rehabbing the region, with the hope that he'll be available at some point in the postseason. However, the Pacers seem overly optimistic regarding his potential contribution to the frontcourt rotation, which included Ian Mahinmi spotting Roy Hibbert at center for most of the season. Modest minutes aren't out of the question, but the 15-to-18 that team president Larry Bird proposed recently are likely wishful thinking.
