Aaron Brooks will start at point guard Friday versus the Memphis Grizzlies, as Ty Lawson missed a team meeting, Chris Dempsey of the Denver Post reports.
Brooks will be the beneficiary of Lawson's absence, though the latter will likely assume his normal workload in a bench role. In Wednesday's win over the Pelicans, Brooks put up 24 points (9-12, 6-8 3Pt) to go with three rebounds, two blocks and a pair of steals.
