Steven Whittaker: Early Injury

Whittaker injured his ankle just a few hours after being granted official clearance to join Norwich from Glasgow Rangers, reports Sky Sports.

Norwich will wait to see the extent of the injury, but it could be possible that the team will be without their new signing for the start of the season. Whittaker was one of a number of players who took the option to leave Rangers after the club entered financial difficulty.
