Wallace underwent successful surgeries on both his left knee and ankle, the Celtics' official Twitter account reports.

Analysis:

Wallace was ruled out for the remainder of this season after an MRI last week revealed a torn meniscus in his left knee. The veteran had also been playing through bone spurs in his left ankle, so with his season being over, surgery was performed to correct both ailments as soon as possible. Wallace now faces a period of rehab ahead of next season, when he'll be 32 years old.
