Ben Foster (Ankle): Getting Closer to Return

Foster (ankle) is not expected to play Saturday against Cardiff, but could be ready within the next couple of weeks, the Daily Express reports. Manager Steve Clarke said that Foster "is coming along. I know you are all waiting on Foster coming back, but I think this week will be too soon for him."

Analysis:

Boaz Myhill has filled in admirably for Foster, who previously got word that he wouldn't immediately get his starting job back when he returned. For this weekend anyway, that debate won't be had.
