He got the start with Nikola Vucevic (ankle) out, but was an afterthought, as Glen Davis scored a career-high 33 points and rookie guard Victor Oladipo led the team with 10 boards. Second-year post player Andrew Nicholson saw 38 minutes off the bench, further demonstrating Maxiell's place on the team. If Vucevic misses further games, Maxiell can be largely ignored.
