Baron Davis News

Davis (knee) said that he plans on coming back from his horrific injury, ending speculation that he will retire, the New York Daily News reports.

Davis suffered a partial tear to his patella tendon and completely tore both his ACL and MCL during the Knicks' first round playoff series against Miami. As of now, the 33-year-old is awaiting to start rehab on his right knee, but is likely to be signed by the Knicks to serve as Jeremy Lin's backup. With a long history of injuries and his career winding down, don't expect too much statistically from Davis this season, whenever he returns.
