Mavericks waive Renaldo Balkman, Devin Ebanks, D.J. Kennedy, Fab Melo

The Dallas Mavericks significantly reduced their roster on Tuesday by waiving four players. 

Balkman hasn't played in the NBA since the 2011-12 season, where he averaged 3.0 points, 1.9 rebounds, and 0.4 assists in 14 games for the Knicks.

Ebanks spent the last season with the Lakers, where he featured in 19 games and averaged 3.4 points, 2.2 rebounds, and 0.5 assists.

Kennedy has only played two games ever in the NBA. Those came in the 2011-12 season with the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Melo featured in six games for the Celtics during 2012-13, averaging 1.2 points and 0.5 rebounds.
